Goal of the Workshop
The aim of this workshop is to summarize the present knowledge on heavy-quark hadron production from SPS energies to RHIC and LHC. In particular open experimental issues and challenges to theory should be addressed. World-leading experts and a few selected young scientists will give their view in 30' minutes oral presentations.
Young scientists on the advanced PhD and postdoc level are encouraged to actively participate in the discussions and register as listeners. All listeners are required to present a poster. In good fashion of a Heraeus seminar, there will be ample time for discussions during the sessions, at an excursion to Castle Drachenfels and social gatherings throughout the week.
